About the artists

HEATHEN SHAME is the trio of Greg Kelley, Wayne Rogers, and Kate Village. In the two decades since their founding in 1999, they have unleashed an unbridled twin-guitar, feedback, and trumpet onslaught like no other. Their legendary live sets are all too rare since Greg moved west a few years back, so don’t sleep on this one.

DONNA PARKER & VIC RAWLINGS
Duet: Mary Staubitz, Vic Rawlings
Opposite uses of nearly identical methods of generating electronic sound.
Several large amplifiers at capacity.
A single duration.

MARGERY KEMPE is Rachael & Jean-Paul Beauchemin. The duo deconstruct pre-baroque western music traditions by re-centering modal harmony as collage and eschewing its Christian foundation in favor of extreme volume as worship.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Boston Cultural Council, a local agency which is funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, administrated by the Mayor’s Office of Arts + Culture.
