ZACKERY BELANGER is a designer, artist, consultant, and researcher whose work is centered on the acoustic performance of architecture. His music uses SuperCollider to time samples and tones to ridiculous precision, moving between minimal compositions and thousands of simultaneous layers of audio, often pushing laptops to the point of failure. In 2013 he was the inaugural Researcher-in-Residence at the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center [EMPAC]. He is the founder of Archgeometer.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Brookline Commission for the Arts, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
