WILTED WOMAN is the solo moniker of Eel Burn, currently residing between Berlin, Germany and Providence, RI. Wilted Woman makes electronic dance music, sort of, with elements reaching from noise to industrial and musique concrète. Ad Hoc described recent release Bio Inspo as “a diversely entangled web of modulating, mutant melodies, full of stuttering syncopations that surround you, bouncing in polyrhythmic, spatially aware patterns Reminiscent of the sound of a broken computer attempting dial-up, only with an interference in the connection.” Wilted Woman can also make you a website, shelving unit, tiny computer or grayscale poster, all for a friendly price.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Brookline Commission for the Arts, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
