SECRET DIARY is a duo of Jessica Rylan on homemade analog synth and Donna Parker on store bought pedals and mic. Friends for twenty years and collaborators for ten, Secret Diary has performed in the metal band Pig Destroyer and crashed many notable gigs featuring such artists as Deerhoof, Whitehouse, Magik Markers and Thurston Moore.

Local multi-instrumentalists/instrument designers KEVIN MICKA and MARK WILLIAM PEARSON build aleatoric and improvised hallucinatory soundscapes using prepared guitars, homemade electronics, cassettes and voice. Kevin and Mark also perform together in the long-running sculpture-project-cum-rock-band Neptune as well as in Kevin’s Animal Hospital Ensemble. As a duo, their explorations rely on simultaneous deft impulse and the choice of making discerning minimal movements. At times, the results are pretty funny.

PATRICK EMM is a Boston-based artist and musician who utilizes various lo-fi electronics, voice and degraded tape to create hazy, witching-hour compositions. His work relies heavily on a naïve and profoundly skewed sense of fidelity and musical vocabulary. Patrick has been described as a “cassette fetishist” whose music lies somewhere in the intersections of composition and improvisation, elation and dread, failure and success.
