Patrick Emm is a composer and field-recordist. He utilizes various electronics, lo-fi recordings and found sound to create drone-based soundworks. His work primarily focuses on an intimate and personal sense of failure and fatigue, with heavy emphasis on isolation, dread and the colloquial. He lives and works in Boston and has released a small number of CD-R’s through his own label, Pinebox Recordings.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Brookline Commission for the Arts, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
