ERIKA NESSE is an experimental electronic musician and computer programmer who is fascinated by the intersection between the power of computer algorithms and human creativity.

Erika has been playing in various locations around Massachusetts and New York since she started creating fractal music in 2015, including Noise Brunch at Firehouse, XFest, WSAC in Somerville, and Trans-Pecos in Queens. The computer is writing the music but no one seems to have minded yet.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Brookline Commission for the Arts and the Boston Cultural Council, both local agencies which are funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The Boston Cultural Council is administrated by the Mayor’s Office of Arts + Culture.
