About the artists
BEIGE is the improvising duo of Stella Silbert and Liam Kramer-White. Formed in parallel to their studies at Hampshire College, the duo has evolved with their interests in improvisation and electroacoustic sounds and their re-presentation. They have presented works at Hampshire College and throughout the Northeast.

Liam Kramer-White (Western MA) is an improviser, composer, and sound artist. He plays synthesizer, mixing board, field recordings, open electronics and amplified objects. His work deals with sensing apparatuses, actions, and their consequences. Liam has performed solo, and in duos with Stella Silbert, Arkm Foam, Seamus Williams and has presented sound and light installations with the Li(ight)fe Ensemble. 

Stella Silbert is an artist who currently works primarily with field recordings and improvisation on no-input mixing board and turntable. She performs solo as Sweetness the Point of Song, in the duo Beige with Liam Kramer-White, and in Trone with Liam Kramer-White and Phill Parks. She is based in Northampton, MA.
