LURE is the solo project of Allison O. Utilizing field recordings and programmed audio Lure creates a haunting digital language over archived landscapes that often play with audible/inaudible sound and toy with chaotic and semi-repetitive noise. Lure explores the parameters of physical location and being inside/outside, gyrating in a concrete environment in a style alluding towards club culture and the phenomena of belonging to a sonic environment.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Brookline Commission for the Arts and the Boston Cultural Council, both local agencies which are funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The Boston Cultural Council is administrated by the Mayor’s Office of Arts + Culture.
